Jonathan Hale Zippin M.D., Ph.D. is an Attending Dermatologist and Instructor in Dermatology at Weill Medical College of Cornell. Dr. Zippin attended Cornell University where he received a Bachelor of Science with Honors. He then attended the Rockefeller/Cornell/Sloan-Kettering Tri-Institutional MD/PhD program. He then completed his general medicine internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, followed by a residency in dermatology at the Weill Cornell Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Zippin is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is also a member of the medical editorial board of the Journal of Drug in Dermatology.
Dr. Zippin is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in the area of signal transduction and skin disease, and has published a variety of papers reviewing the treatment of dermatologic diseases.
Dr. Jorrizo has been appointed Professor of Dermatology and Attending Physician at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is Professor, Former and Founding Chair of the Dermatology Department at Wake Forest University and Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at the Weill Cornell School of Medicine. Dr. Jorizzo received his undergraduate medical degrees from Boston University 6 year AB/MD Program and completed his internship in internal medicine and residency and Chief Residency in Dermatology at North Carolina Memorial (UNC) Hospital. He also served as a fellow at St John's Hospital Dermatology Institute in London.
Dr. Jorizzo has been on myriad councils, committees, and advisory boards. He has participated on the editorial boards of the Archives of Dermatology, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, among others. He is a member of many professional societies, including the American Dermatologic Association Society of Investigative Dermatology, Dermatology Foundation, Women's Dermatology Association and the American Academy of Dermatology where he served as Vice President.
Dr. Lipner has been appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Assistant Attending Physician at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Chemistry. Dr. Lipner's medical training (M.D. and Ph.D) were completed at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed a transitional year internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Lipner completed her residency training in Dermatology at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is board certified in Dermatology and has a wide range of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of skin disorders.
